Inspiration
I’ve worked in the media industry for over 30 years. My career spans magazines, newspapers and television. You may remember me as editor of some of Australia’s most iconic magazines - Cleo and Cosmopolitan, Shop til you Drop and Madison. The biggest lesson I have learnt in business is... you will make mistakes but there’s gold to be found in your failures. Never stop listening. Accept help when you need it. Be ethical, be creative, be supportive, look forward, listen, and work to live, not live to work.
Everywhere. Everyone. Books, film, art and mostly music. Lyrics give me inspiration every day. There is a video clip playing in my head constantly and my outfit choices are part of that. As far as muses go: Marilyn Monroe, Carolyn B Kennedy, Blondie and Lauren Hutton.
Classic. I love black, white, camel and denim. Then give me fabulous in pink, gold and jade.
It’s perfectly feminine. It has personality, originality and flatters and celebrates the female form. Curves, waists - all of our glorious shapes.
I had such fun - thank you for having me. I loved meeting some of the wonderful Review women – who have such great loyalty and passion about the brand. This collection for me is classic Review. Vintage shapes, beautiful floral prints and classics like the red cape and three quarter coats. It’s pretty but modern.
