Carlotta Moye has an impressive body of work. We’re lucky enough to have worked with her for our latest campaign, and to have sat down with her to talk all things inspiration, career highlights and celebrity goss!
After starting out as a fashion editor at Dolly magazine I could only dream of shooting with any of the Supermodels… but when you visualize it, it can happen. When I left Dolly to become a photographer I shot with Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Claudia Schiffer and Helena Christiansen. I also booked Kate Moss on her first paid job!
My photography appears effortless. I like my subjects to feel comfortable so they can be themselves. But lighting is everything to me. Beautiful light to enhance the beauty of my subject.
The people I work with are everything. You get to meet some incredibly creative people who bring out the best in my work.
When I first started out London was a huge influence in my work. I spent days on The Kings Road soaking up all the street culture. Then it was Paris. Now it’s Australia. We have the most difficult but beautiful light and locations. Of course, the people I shoot inspire me the most.
Emmanuelle Alt the ex-Editor of Vogue Paris. Her simple classic pieces with a super chic French twist always land perfectly. The classic blazer, the perfect blue jeans with a killer heel…fabulous. It’s all about the fit.
Ahhh Cate Blanchett was amazing and so lovely. I had a great day with Matt Le Blanc that turned into a fabulous night out…actually the same with KD Lang. Delta Goodrem and I have worked together since her first album and we push each other every time. Kylie Minogue was sick as a dog on our shoot day but didn’t want to let me down so showed up ready to shoot. I mean there are so many and all of them are so wonderful.

I love the collaboration with the team on the day. We've worked together across many years, know each other so well and can inspire each other on the day. I love the spirit of the brand and the collections. Great fabrics, fabulous colours and the perfect feminine fit.
I love how Review have a distinctive look, retro with a modern twist, and cross over a lot of different styles. The dresses are so flattering.
I love the nautical bright wide leg pants.
