“We begun the process during our trip to New York, where we stumbled upon a hidden gem—a gorgeous piece of vintage fabric at a local vintage store. It was love at first sight, as we were instantly drawn to the romantic, intricate yet bold hand-painted floral pattern. Recognising its potential appeal to the Review customer, we knew we had found something special.

Once we landed home from our trip, we begun to bring it to life!

We carefully considered the colouration we desired for the print and sought the expertise of a talented local artist. The artist photographed the beauty of the fabric and skillfully re-created the artwork, transforming it into a workable design.

To ensure that the vintage print could be seamlessly repeated along a roll of fabric, we worked hard alongside our suppliers to create a continuous “in repeat” pattern. This intricate process, while time-consuming, was vital in preserving the beauty and integrity of the original vintage fabric.

As a team, we take a lot of time to consider the garment shape, the floral design and how the placement of it will appear on the finished garment.

"We try hard not to break up the pattern, but the pattern pieces have to be cut from different areas of the print throughout the fabric roll, which just means each garment is an individual and one-of-a-kind.”
